Imagine a film that accurately portrays clubbing. Some have tried, yet none have succeeded - until now. Human Traffic, the film described as "the best club culture film yet" Muzik, hit our cinema screens on June 4th 1999 with the album release on June 7th 1999. When it came to choosing the person to compile the Human Traffic soundtrack Pete Tong was the right man for the job, as he manages to work within the mainstream but is still very much respected by the underground.
The soundtrack album included tracks from Armand Van Helden, Orbital, Fatboy Slim, Lucid, Underworld, Peter Heller and Carl Cox to name just a few. The signiture tune came from Belgium's finest, CJ Bolland with 'It Aint Gonna Be Me', which hit the charts at the end of June 99. |
